We are currently accepting applications for Uniform Security Officer positons and Event Staff Personnel:
SCOPE: Provide services for events such as concerts, sporting events, trade shows, and conferences at local venues.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Primary responsibility is to ensure client policies are followed by patrons.
- May be required to conduct rounds of the area to keep unauthorized individuals away from the performers and out of the restricted areas.
- Check for vendor and employee identifications.
- Be on the look-out for suspicious packages, persons, and activities.
- May be directing traffic on the premises.
- Must follow venue specific guidelines.
- May be required to complete incident report.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma preferred, minimum of a GED.
- Must have excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to travel to various locations.
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check and pre-employment assessment.
SCOPE: The Security Officer is responsible for protecting the site's buildings, grounds, assets, employees, tenants, and visitors against criminal activities, accidents, fires and natural disasters.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Guard posts that may include gatehouses, building lobbies, or reception areas.
- May monitor surroundings on closed-circuit television.
- Ensure unauthorized persons do not enter restricted areas.
- Check for employee and vendor identifications.
- Look for suspicious persons, packages, and activities.
- Inspect vehicles and packages as well as monitor deliveries.
- May direct traffic on the premises and issue parking permits.
- May provide first aid or other medical treatment (will specify by individual account) in emergency situations.
- May conduct vehicle patrols.
- Must follow site specific post guidelines.
- Foot patrol of interior and exterior to check gates, entrances, doors, windows and all other access areas. Make sure all applicable accesses are locked and secure against break-ins.
- Document daily activities and incident reports.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High scholl diploma preferred or minimum of GED.
- 1-2 year of industry experience preferred.
- Must have good driving record.
- Ability to read and write fluently and effectively.
- Ability to work independently.
- Must be able to stand for the entire duration of the shift.
- Must have excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Must have specific certification for critical accounts.
- Ability to travel to various locations.
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check and pre-employment assessment.
