Unmatched Credentials and Networking Capabilities:  Mr. John Kendall (founder and owner) is a retired U.S. Marshal and Mr. Robert DuHadway (founder and Chairman) is a former FBI Supervisory Agent and both have incredible knowledge and experience in the fields of security and investigations.  Mr. Kendall continues to be involved in the daily operations of the uniform security division including working daily with the operations managers.  Mr. DuHadway continues to be involved with the investigative division and closely networks with former FBI agents worldwide.  DK’s operations managers have been personally trained and mentored by Mr. Kendall and the company’s philosophies and practices were developed based upon the practices accepted by the U.S. Marshal Service and Federal Bureau of Investigations.  As clients are presented with varying security needs, risks, threats and analyses, they receive a partnership with Mr. Kendall and the senior officers.

Partnership:  Because the owner, company officers and senior management team are actively involved in the daily operations of DK, clients have the ability to truly develop a partnership with DK’s management team.  As unforeseen security needs arise for our clients, they are able to contact security executives they personally know and with whom they have already developed a relationship.

Full Service:  DK is unique in that it offers a single company for a wide ranging availability of security and investigative services.  DK’s services are specially designed to be comprehensive and allow clients to have their varying and diverse security needs met within one trusted company.  The majority of DK clients utilize a variety of DK services, and typically on an as needed basis.  Unfortunately, most of DK’s clients at various times are faced with high risk terminations, internal theft and embezzlement issues, sexual harassment issues and more.   DK serves as their partner as these situations arise, and the clients have the opportunity to work with specialists, with whom they have already developed a relationship.  DK provides executive protection and surveillance services for high risk terminations.  DK installs hidden cameras as requested, implements under cover detectives into factory and warehouse settings, provides highly trained investigators for interview / interrogation purposes, and more.  In sum, our clients are able to contact DK in the event of any unforeseen security issue and receive assistance from the senior management  team that is located only miles away.

Locally Owned:  One of the primary advantages of partnering with DK, is the proximity of the headquarters facility to its Michigan based clients and the immediate access to the company founders and senior management team.  National contracted security companies with headquarters outside of the state of Michigan and in some cases outside of the United States, are not able to provide the close partnership to its west Michigan clientele.  Due to the nature of being locally owned, DK’s clients receive incredible attention and support from the DK management team when presented with security related issues or emergencies.

Transitioning from current security provider to DK:  DK understands that many facilities / plants become comfortable with particular security officers working at their facility, and over time develop relationships with their officers.  It is common to express a desire for a few or all of the current officers to become hired by DK, making for a smooth and seamless transition into a new security contractor.
