What's New at DK

DK Security has been designated by the Michigan State Police as a qualified provider of fingerprinting services. DK has processed over 15,000 prints since 2006 for populations including education, child care, medical, nursing homes, churches and other professionals. We are the only provider of fingerprinting services in Michigan open 24 hours per day, seven days a week. Individuals can visit our office for fingerprinting, or our highly trained staff can come to your site. Mr. Steve Pekrul has been promoted to Vice President of Operations overseeing our Uniform Security Division and Event Management Division. Mr. Pekrul is a former Supervisory Deputy U.S. Marshal with extensive experience in law enforcement, security, investigations and executive protection. Congratulations Steve!

Ms. Tracy Barnum has been promoted to Operations Manager in our Uniform Security Division. Ms. Barnum is a criminal justice and police academy graduate with experience in uniform security, loss prevention / store detective and investigations. Congratulations Tracy!

Dr. Kathryn Kendall Burrill has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer / Senior Vice President; Mr. Joe Budnik has been appointed as Director of Security Operations; Mr. Steve Pekrul has been promoted to Site Manager (Uniform Security and Event Management at DeVos Place); Ms. Heather Block has been promoted to Operations Manager (Retail Loss Prevention).

We are truly honored to have had the opportunity to provide security services at the DeVos Place throughout the week of President Ford's funeral. Our staff went above and beyond, managing over 57,000 people filtering through DeVos Place while paying their respects. It was an incredible experience to have been a part of this moment in history and we couldn't be more proud of our staff.

DK was recently awarded a 3 year contract with the Michigan Supreme Court and Court of Appeals.

InstaScreen is our new on-line pre-employment and tenant screening tool. This state of the art on-line process is easy to use and gives instant results on many products ordered. Clients may check the status of their order at anytime. Once an order is complete the client will be notified via email.
